We are proud to introduce our new "County Collection" of gift boxes. Each specially designed box is named after a county in Wisconsin where the artisan cheese of each box is produced. Because there are many gift boxes that have more than one cheese, we have selected the county name of the first cheese listed in each collection.

Add a handmade wooden Schoolhouse Artisan Cheese signature gift box for your special gift collection. The square box is just $12.00, while the larger round box is $15.00.

Your gift will also include a description of each of the cheeses, cheese care and pairing tips, and serving suggestions from our experienced cheesemongers..now the choice is yours…

All of the cheeses that we offer are handmade by a very talented group of artisan cheesemakers from Wisconsin, America's Dairyland. Each cheese in our gift box collection is approximately one half pound unless otherwise noted. The specialty meats/salami that we offer are dry cured, 100% natural, with no artificial ingredients added. The preserves offered in many of the collections are handmade in Madison, the state capital of Wisconsin.

Dodge County Collection

This flight of four cheeses is sure to please.  Widmer's Cheese Cellar in Theresa, Dodge County, brings us a true American original, Brick Cheese.  This unique wash rind cheese is full of flavor and perfect for sandwiches or on a cheese board.  MontAmore from Sartori Cheese is a unique cheddar/parmesan cheese.  Marieke Gouda, is a raw milk farmstead Gouda with a creamy sweet taste.  Rounding out this collection is SarVecchio, a parmesan type cheese by Sartori, aged over 20 months (approx 5.3 ounces).

Included is a very unique Goat Salami from Underground Meats in Madison that has become a top seller in our lineup of fine meats. This special hand-wrapped collection of cheeses includes some of the Schoolhouse top sellers, and is packed in one of our custom made signature wooden gift boxes.  This truly special collection includes  Dunbarton Blue, from Roelli Cheese Haus in Shullsburg, Iowa County.  The cave aged rustic rind Cheddar has just a hint of blue, open-air cured on wood shelves producing a slightly spicy and gentle earthy flavor.  Pleasant Ridge Reserve from Uplands Cheese, is a grass-fed, raw milk alpine style cheese that is slightly nutty and subtle floral notes creating a caramel flavor that matures with age.  This cheese has become the most celebrated cheese in the U.S.  Rounding out the collection is Bleu Mont Dairy's Bandaged Cheddar.  This British farmhouse-style cheddar is cloth-bound and cave aged for big flavor and a great balance.  To complement these three special cheeses, we have included a Bolzano Old School Salami.  This all natural dry cured salami has a savory down-to-earth flavor, seasoned with aromatic garlic and rustic cracked black pepper.  Also included is a natural slate serving board, a Kuhn Rikon knife, and honey.
